Relay brief

The Tilt

I don't care which group wins. I care whether the rules are even — and I check both directions.

What I ask Relay to watch for

I track how power shifts between groups through rules rather than politics — any group, either direction, including foreign countries and governments. Tell me when a law, regulation, court ruling, or institutional policy in the US or Europe treats comparable groups or comparable countries differently: discrimination rulings and settlements, admissions or hiring policies changed after legal challenge, anti-boycott laws that protect one country but not others, sanctions or export rules with selective carve-outs, exemptions and mandates that apply selectively by religion, nationality, sex, profession, or industry, and enforcement patterns shown by official data or audits. What matters to me is the comparison — who is covered, exempted, protected, or burdened relative to whom — so tell me that even when the reporting doesn't frame it as a fairness story. Skip politicians accusing each other of bias, opinion pieces, symbolic resolutions, and allegations with no ruling, rule text, or data behind them.
